MY first CONCERT!

woohoo. Its OVER.
MY FIRST CONCERT EVER.

hahaha.
WELL, I WAS LATE FOR MY REHEARSAL!
luckily it haven't really started yet.
PHEW
When i was in the taxi, i was like "oh shit. shit im late man. Now 4pm already...sure reach 4.15pm! so late....argghh... urrghhh....."
And i think the taxi driver actually heard me because he increased the speed and drove faster. HAHA, thanks, driver!
When I reached Raffles Hotel, as I was not sure of the way, I went inside the hotel. OHMYGOD. The place looks like I'm in a MANSION WITH RICH PEOPLE AROUND. The lights...everything...SO GRAND! Like $1 BILLION! Really, im NOT KIDDING. My eyes went WIDE and my mouth was opened with SHOCK.
My mother asked around for the direction. Then we went. sian, i feel the destination is so long, still must walk somemore. Still also have to take the escalator! To Third Storey sia.
I FINALLY REACHED JUBILEE HALL. I saw my teacher, Ms Liew, who is in charge of Sin Hua and me, she then brought me to the dressing room to prepare everything.
so blah blah, we had our LAST practice to make sure we fullly get the arrangement. So settled, its time for our dinner! I had a NICE dinner with my mum, aunt and my closest cousin, Yushan. I had to eat quickly as I did not have much time left. After that, rushed back to Jubilee Hall to change into my costume. Luckily the chinese costume went well with my dress. A good thing i bought it, especially for Hawaii. Hahaha. I feel everything had arranged for me, like, to go to Hawaii, i had to find a damned dress at the last minute for this dinner grand gathering. On the other hand, it saved my time as i got my own dress for the Kawaii concert.
Then yep, we stayed in our dressing room to wait for the concert to start, as well as our turn. Beside Sin Hua, me and Ms Liew, there are about 6-7 children with us. They all wore the animal costumes, except two girls, one wore the Snow White costume and the other girl, a pretty little one, wore a nice white dress.
They are really damned noisy. Scream here and there, talk and talk so LOUD. hahaha. I was busy doing stuffs with my flute when two of the kids suddenly came up to me and asked whats that. From there, I had a really fun chat with all the kids! They can be so funny with their jokes. I was like laughing here and there man x)
But worse, one girl asked me how old i am. I said "You guess"
She was like "hmm....18??"
I was like "I'm 18???? NAH. Try again"
"....16??"
"Correct! Do i really look 18 to you???"
"Abit... but you look younger if you don't wear your dress. You wear that dress, you looked older"
One more girl came up and added" Yeah yeah! Like as young as a pretty lady"
I was like (=_=)"
Another part, they even want to remove my glasses! I was liek "noooooo, don't want! I cannot see. I'm as BLIND as a bat without my glasses"
The kids went "Nooo! Just remove it pleassseee. You sure look nicer if you remove!"
And blah blah, and continue with their silly jokes and teasing.
LOL, okay, i can't stay mad or irritated; seriously they are so CUTE!
Then another teacher came in the room. "Okay, its our turn now. Get ready everyone!"
OMG. No way. My heart was already pounding fast! I can feel the HEART BEATS vibrating against my chest! I was like "Cool down, rachel! Your parents and friends are gonna watch you! Show them what you have got!"
BUT NO USE.
After the Snow White and the animals, it was our turn! I WAS LIKE "OH NO"
I had to walk first, with Sin Hua behind me. Slowly we walked, and walked through the door and HERE WE ARE. EVERYONE can SEE US now. And so, I had to do more things than him, lucky him! I had to look around first, while waiting for him to put the things on the floor. Then I slowly walked to the mirror and pretended to tidy myself up. Then, I walked to the stand and signalled him that I was ready but my mind says "NO. YOU ARE NOT READY. Your heart beats are getting heavier and heavier!"
OMG. The piano part already started! Wait for me man! I still have to breathe to calm myself!
ARGH! I had to raise my flute. ARGH. AND HERE I GO!
lalalalalala.... lalala..... UNTIL i made one MISTAKE. BUT its a very minor one. That was, I forgot to breathe and had to release a wrong pause. I quickly BREATHE and continue to blow. Luckily everything went fine after that. hahahahaha. Then everyone gave a BIG APPLAUSE. haha. My legs went wobbly sian.
After the whole concert finished, we had to dance. HAHA. Yeah, i know i didn't put enough effort to SMILE and be happy and move my arms about but im so damned tired. And my black court shoes were hurting my toes very badly. One of the toe's skin came off. SHEESH!
WE BOWED AND IT WAS OVER! HAha everyone did well. Even teachers said I do very well. One of them even gave a big pat on my shoulder. LOL. Phew man. I'm glad I did not embarrass myself in front of the audience.
After I settled my things on the table, some people gave me a BIG SURPRISE.
It was IVY, ZHOUMENG, HAUEN AND BEILE!
I was like SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM!!

THEN WE WENT HOME!
Ahhh...... i had a good time and am glad that I performed in a concert.
AND YOU GUYS. dare to make fun of me behind my back, talking romantic stuffs erh?? Wait till I box your mouth then you know! You arh, THINK TOO MUCH. Must wash away all the rubbish in your brain! LOL.
Anyway, I want to say this again for the last time

Three words to spell out.
I HATE MATHS
I can't even goddamn remember certain basic methods.
For example, what is the volume of a cube?
Its supposed to be L x B x H
BUT I ONLY REMEMBERED B x H
I can't even remember that damn L.
I even asked my brain "FASTER! think think! whats the letter before B and H?!"
too late. I think too long and my tutor scolded me like usual....
People tell me this: You know, you must learn to love your subjects... If you don't love them, how are you going to work with them? ...blah blah"
Love them... you tell me to love them, i tried to LOVE them as much as I can but its NOT WORKING. I still don't get any chemistry with them! (ESPECIALLY MATHS)
Maths is my worst enemy. My arch enemy...

Like one time, just the day BEFORE my maths standard test, we were tested on co-ordinate geometry. I just had 2 hours tution LAST NIGHT! I even have a CLEAR vision of whats its about. BUT WHEN I WOKE UP IN THE MORNING AND SEE THE MATHS PAPER....
NOTHING CAME OUT IN MY MIND.
A BLANK.
As expected, I FAILED.
I told myself "WHY?! just one day before my test, I ran through with my tutor and even after my lesson ended, I revise them again! And I slept WELL! But the moment I see the questions on the test, its like I can't even do a damn!"
I feel that Im really SLOW when comes to maths. Even trying to absorb the methods is also a difficult task for me.
Although I have to admit that my recent maths exam result is getting better than the previous exam but its definetely still NOT GOOD at all.

When I was still in primary school.. i think.... once in a while, my mother brought me to see Sister Jack's brother, who is a physcologist (im not sure but its about that)
I always wondered why I had to go there. Being questioned by him and in the end of the lesson, I just sat there quietly while watching my parents having a talk with him. I even asked my mother why I had to go through that lesson, she just told me "You say you always hate maths, we wanted to know why you feel so. So Uncle will have a talk with you and see why you feel like that...blah blah"
Well, as I was still quite young, I won't understand what the main point is.
But now Im older, Im more aware. Ok, straight to the point
A few days ago, my mum mentioned that Sister Jack's brother said I'm suffering from Dyslexia.
She said it was still kinda a good thing that I have a mild dyslexia.
Dyslexia is a learning diffuculty. Children with dyslexia find it diffucult to read, write, spell and comprehend written passages and articulate their thoughts even though they are smart enough and are motivated to learn.
Dyslexia is a hidden handicap -- you can't see it when you look at the child or hear it when you talk to the child. A child who has dyslexia might start out doing fine in school. But gradually, it can become a struggle.
FACTS OF DYSLEXIA
- Children with dyslexia are usually of normal intelligence.
- Dyslexia can run in the family.
- It is a life-long condition.
- Children with dyslexia are often misunderstood to be 'lazy', 'stupid' or 'not trying hard enough'.
- Dyslexia varies in severity from one individual to another.
Typically, with dyslexia, there is a wide gap between IQ and school achievement. Often, the dyslexia child's ability to think creatively and abstractly is good but his basic reading and spelling skills are weak.
Dyslexia can not only be found in children. Even adults also have it.
I was shocked to hear it man. Wah liao. I have enough problems and now I get A NEW ONE. Just when will I get enough of this?! it really pisses me off. Im getting fed up can.
After hearing it, i feel a bit sorry for myself BUT I'M MUCH MOE FED UP. STUPID DYSLEXIA, WHY DID YOU COME INTO MY LIFE?! Now im struggling so hard all of because of you! SIAN. I don't believe that I'm suffering from it!
My mum even said, MAYBE she will take me to the Dyslexia Centre to find out whether I'm really a dyslexia person or not. SIAN. i even dislike the thought of going there! What if it comes true?! Wah liao. Then all the more I need to FIGHT AGAINST IT LIAO.

I seriously love anime since childhood. I always draws out the manga characters and once created my own story of "Legend of the Dragons" and a Pokemon comic book made of only A4 PAPERS! I was still so young at that time. I remembered vividly that I gave one of my created comic book to a female teacher I really admired in CCPS. HAHA!
