You will wonder why my blog often has a new layout while I don't often update my posts. HAHA. Lame erh? You see, this girl is always enjoying creating/modifying new layouts as a fun experience for herself! But I do update my blog once in a while!

normal/hearing

Something struck into my mind when I was looking at my hearing aids just now.

I remembered it was not the first time I thought of that same intention

You know, many of us often say things like "we are different from the normal people" or "why can't we be like those normal ppl, dun need the trouble to buy hearing aids etc" based on our hearing loss.

I don't know why we have to say the word "normal"

If they are normal, wat are we? Abnormal?

I would rather say them as hearing people instead of normal people

Maybe Im just too sensitive about it as it can be labelled as a so-called general phrase, but to me, hearing and normal are really two different words.

Sometimes we use the wrong choice of words, but it shouldn't be this way.

Abnormal means you can't even look after yourself physically and mentally. Unable to control your nerves. Deformation too. We HI or even deaf are not like that, are we?

Well, thats just my opinion =/ I know you guys are used to saying that but I do want a change in that. LOL...
